Introduction:

The HTGPune Summit is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants. Our Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behaviour, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behaviour.

Expectations:

  • Respect: Treat everyone with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Valuable and constructive discussions are encouraged, but must remain professional.
  • Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and be inclusive of all genders, races, ages, and abilities.
  • Communication: Communicate openly and thoughtfully with others and be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that are different than your own.
  • Collaboration: Promote and engage in collaborative and constructive dialogue.

Unacceptable Behaviour:

  • Harassment and intimidation, including any verbal, written (including via texts and social media), or physical conduct designed to threaten, intimidate, or coerce.
  • Discrimination, derogatory, or demeaning conduct.
  • Disruption of presentations or other events.

Consequences:

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behaviour, the summit organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, from a warning to the offender to expulsion from the summit.

Reporting:

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behaviour, or have any other concerns, please notify a summit organizer as soon as possible.
